I am an experienced Story Producer in documentary film, drawn towards subject matter that explores the shades of grey in the human experience. I have set up shoots around the world in complex locations, with the ability to gain and maintain access to sensitive contributors.

  • Establishing exclusive access to a British group, I have been developing a feature documentary aimed at independent festivals.

The Sound of Family (Independent, Burning Flag) - Producer

  • Producing 3-part retrospective documentary series aimed at global streamers about techno and the fall of the Berlin wall

  • Writing the script and story outline for the series in collaboration with the directors

  • Conducting in-depth research about this historical period and music

  • Archive research

  • Finding and gaining access to new contributors 

  • Producing research briefs and interview question guides for upcoming shoot in April

Changemakers (WT) (Paramount +, Proper Content) - Assistant Producer

  • Developing an 8 x 60’ series about grassroots activism around the world

  • Conducting in-depth research on complex issues related to social justice, climate justice and human rights, developing editorial, including writing running orders

  • Casting contributors for three films covering overfishing, the cost of living crisis and refugee rights in Denmark

  • Building trust with vulnerable contributors and gaining access in very sensitive environments

  • Supporting the PD and sound recording on location, writing filming logs and wrangling


Oct 2021 - May 2022
Carnival Fixation) - Development Producer

  • Developing a 6-part international documentary series aimed at global streamers with films located in Europe, the US, the Caribbean and South America

  • Producing a 10-day shoot on location in Rio, Brazil to gather material for the sizzle and first episode, filming in favelas and other sensitive locations 

  • Working closely with the director and fixers, managing an 11-person crew with cinema cameras

  • Conducting in-depth research on social and political issues and delivering concise briefings for the director 

  • Writing interview questions and casting contributors from vulnerable backgrounds
